Bonnie Glass, RN, MN

Ms. Glass is a perinatal nurse with many years of experience including direct patient care, leadership in hospital and ambulatory settings, professional practice development, maternal-newborn program innovations and growth, resolution of serious adverse events and support for perinatal practice through professional organizations, quality initiatives, community initiatives, teaching and research. 

She has held leadership positions as a Nurse Manager, Director and Vice President in tertiary and community hospitals, home health and community organizations, and faculty positions at several universities. Other positions have included: Vice-Chair of the Massachusetts Lehman Center Expert Panel on Obstetric Safety, and a member of the Massachusetts Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Review Committee, the Perinatal Advisory Committee and the CoIIN Infant Mortality Task Force at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Ms. Glass also was the Vice-Chair and Chair of the Massachusetts Perinatal Quality Collaborative (MPQC) in its founding years. She continues with the MPQC work as the Chair of the Severe Maternal Morbidity CDC Grant project. Ms. Glass also is currently a faculty member at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth College of Nursing. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Mississippi.
